“I’m doing rather well. How about you? It has been a while, hasn’t it?”

“Yes, quite a while.  Remember Adric?  I’m still traveling with him.”

“Fine, I suppose.  It seems he doesn’t like me as much as he used to, though.”

“Yes, it is.  I guess he feels a little under appreciated, now that there are four of us traveling,” he put his hands in his pockets.  ”What about you, Romana?  Are you still in E-Space?”

“No, I returned a while ago. Although, I suppose, for where you are, I still am there.”

“Yes, I assume so.  How many times have you regenerated now?  Last time I saw you, you were on your second incarnation.”

“Only twice. But then I don’t go through regenerations quite as quickly as you seem to.”

He grinned.  ”So Romana, I assume you are just traveling now.  With anyone or alone?”

“Mostly by myself. Well, except for K-9, of course.”
